The next day, the first Pitstop for AUSCEP then kicked off with an in-person event for the new cohort of the program.
In Victoria, Dr Brandon Carp from Australian Society for Medical Entrepreneurship & Innovation (ASME) gave a warm welcome to the nation-wide group before Brandon and Anna Barker facilitated the day’s program.
In NSW, MTPConnect Director of Stakeholder Engagement NSW & ACT, Duncan Macinnis and Dr Nathan Moore kicked off the NSW Pitstop event with presentations from established clinical entrepreneurs and the Agency for Clinical Innovation in NSW.
The focus of the day was the ‘leap to clinical entrepreneur’ with a review of the Australian Healthcare System, and who are your customers?
AUSCEP is an industry-leading innovation program designed to advance clinician-led transformation across Australia’s healthcare workforce. The program is based on the highly successful UK NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Program, and designed to empower clinicians with an entrepreneurial spirit to bridge the gap between healthcare and innovation.
We are looking forward to keeping in touch with everyone until the next Pitstop in December!
We are proud to be delivering this program in partnership with ASME, and with the support of LaunchVic and NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation.
