Full House at WAGES Workshop

Another fantastic WA Grant Excellence Service (WAGES) workshop has been delivered, this time on the beautiful Edith Cowan University Joondalup campus, and once again, a full house!

It’s inspiring to see such strong interest from Western Australia’s research community in building competitive grant applications.

This session brought together a new cohort of early- and mid-career researchers, all focused on strengthening their approach to grant development and preparing for the MRFF EMCR scheme. The level of engagement and thoughtful discussion in the room was outstanding.

Our expert speakers shared practical strategies, insider perspectives, and honest reflections that are helping participants refine their ideas and elevate their “plan on a page.”

A sincere thank you to all our speakers for their generous contributions:

Big thanks to Edith Cowan University for hosting us, and to Dr Graham Hall for facilitating our session.

We are grateful for the Future Health Research and Innovation fund for supporting the establishment of MTPConnect’s WA Grant Excellence Service (WAGES), delivered in partnership with Synergy Health Solutions!
