Grant Development Workshop for Clinician Researchers in WA

We are excited to announce that registrations for our WAGES Grant Development workshop for Clinician Researchers are now open!

This virtual workshop is designed to help clinicians – medical doctors, nursing and midwifery and allied health professionals – maximise their chances of success in the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) grant opportunities.

WAGES workshops are designed for teams to come together and develop and enhance their ideas into a strategic plan for a grant application. Therefore, each registrant is strongly encouraged to nominate up to 3 team members who also attend the workshop.

What’s covered?

Core elements of MRFF schemes, what’s required for research proposals and how grant applications are assessed
Targeted advice and insights from experienced reviewers and grant holders.
Time for writing and to develop your application.

This free online workshop is held as two half day sessions, over two weeks via Teams.
First session – 17 June 2026, 9am-12pm.
Second session – 25 June 2026, 1-4pm.

Due to capacity limits a selection process will be used if the number of applicants exceeds the number of places.
