Pathway to Market Cohort Gets Procurement-Ready

Congratulations to the seven medtech companies who have completed our 2026 Pathway to Market program, to be procurement-ready.

This program is helping to get more home-grown medtech products purchased and used by local hospitals and health services.

  • 4D Medical is transforming standard imaging into quantitative four-dimensional lung ventilation analytics
  • Arelis is addressing unmet need in women’s health through next-generation endometriosis diagnostics
  • Lenexa Medical is progressing AI-enabled pressure injury prevention solutions tailored to hospital and aged care settings
  • Mediklean is strengthening local infection control manufacturing capability
  • MX3 Diagnostics is delivering rapid, lab-grade hydration testing through novel biosensor technology
  • Proton Intelligence Australia is developing a first-of-its-kind wearable potassium (K⁺) monitor to support improved management of cardiovascular and kidney disease
  • Sadleir Laboratories is advancing safer medication-delivery technologies for anaesthesia and surgery

The companies were all involved in the AMMA Medtech Showcase held in Melbourne last week, and given the opportunity to pitch to a room full of health system leaders and procurement specialists, including representatives from Healthshares Victoria, Monash Health and Western Health.

Every company also took part in the curated exhibition of 21 Australian medtech companies, highlighting locally designed and manufactured technologies that support high-quality, modern healthcare delivery.

Victoria serves as the pilot state for this important, solutions-driven Pathway to Market program, setting the foundation to drive a national agenda for medtech innovation and manufacturing. Let’s get other states on board!

And look out for a new episode of the MTPConnect Podcast coming soon, featuring insights from this incredible cohort!

This is an initiative of the Australian Medtech Manufacturing Alliance (AMMA), delivered by MTPConnect in partnership with BioMelbourne Network and supported by the Victoria State Government (Victorian Government) Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions.
