Dr Andionne Parlade

Commercialisation Specialist, Targeted Translation Research Accelerator (TTRA) Program

Dr Andionne (Didi) Parlade is our Commercialisation Specialist for the Targeted Translation Research Accelerator (TTRA) Program and also provides periodic support to the Australian Clinical Entrepreneurship Program (AUSCEP).

A physician scientist by training, Didi holds a Bachelor of Psychology and a Doctor of Medicine. She began her career as a general practitioner in the Philippines, where she was also involved in a genomic study on Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, before relocating to Australia to complete a Master of Biomedical and Health Sciences at Monash University, majoring in Neuroscience.

Since joining MTPConnect in 2021, Didi has brought a multidisciplinary perspective to her work across the organisation’s accelerator programs, including the Researcher Exchange and Development within Industry (REDI) Initiative, the Biomedical Translation Bridge (BTB) Program, TTRA, and the Clinical Translation and Commercialisation Medtech (CTCM) Program — providing translation and commercialisation support to Australian innovators.
