Andrew joined MTPConnect in 2019 and leads stakeholder engagement in Queensland. He also led the establishment of, and co-chairs the Australian Antimicrobial Resistance Network (AAMRNet), a public-private, multi-stakeholder expert group promoting Australia’s role in the global fight against AMR. In October 2025, Andrew was appointed a steering committee member of World Health Organization Civil Society Task Force on Antimicrobial Resistance.
Previously he was Manager of Industry and Regulatory Policy at Medicines Australia, the peak body for the innovative pharmaceutical manufacturers in Australia. Andrew has a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Otago, and extensive experience as a pharmacist in Australia and New Zealand.
