Dr Bahareh Badrian is a seasoned leader in Western Australia’s health and medical research landscape, with over a decade of experience driving strategic initiatives, funding programs, and sector wide collaboration through roles with the Raine Medical Research Foundation, the Office of Medical Research and Innovation for WA Department of Health, and the University of Notre Dame Australia.
Her career spans senior roles across government, academia, and independent consultancy, where she has consistently delivered high-impact outcomes, including shaping statewide research strategies, fostering cross-sector partnerships and leading stakeholder engagement. Known for her ability to navigate complex systems and build enduring partnerships, Bahareh brings a valuable combination of policy insight, operational acumen, and a deep commitment to advancing research excellence across WA.
Dr Badrian holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Western Australia.
