Jane Zheng

Events and Operations Coordinator, Targeted Translation Research Accelerator (TTRA)

Jane is a biotechnology graduate with experience in biomedical research projects linked to industry, and event and stakeholder coordination.  Jane holds a Master of Biotechnology, a Bachelor of Biomedicine (Pharmacology), and a Graduate Diploma in Biomedical Science, all from the University of Melbourne.

Prior to joining MTPConnect, Jane was a Graduate Researcher at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, contributing to antibody-based drug discovery, and during an internship with Cartherics Pty Ltd led an industry consulting project focused on cell therapies for cancer. She has undertaken volunteer work with AusBiotech, BioMelbourne Network, the Victorian Medtech Skills and Devices Hub, and the Melbourne Bioinnovation Student Initiative, and mentored secondary students through the Australian Research Council’s Biotech Futures Competition 2024.
