Roop is an experienced commercialisation, strategy and innovation specialist with over 16 years’ experience in the health and life sciences sector. With previous roles at Brandon Capital, Proteomics International, the Department of Health and the Perkins Institute (formerly WAIMR), Roop has extensive experience working with government, research institutes, startups and scaleups to translate research and innovation into spin-outs and licensing opportunities. She holds a PhD in Chemistry and Biochemistry, and an MBA, from the University of Western Australia and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
