Dr Santhni Subramaniam

Industry Development Officer South Australia

Santhni is a pharmaceutical scientist by training, with a research focus on nanoparticle interactions with biological molecules to advance the clinical translation of nanomedicines.

She earned her PhD from the University of South Australia in 2023 (aimed at improving delivery of antibiotics) and has since led several grant-funded industry projects as a postdoctoral scientist. Her contributions to the field have earned her numerous accolades, including being a finalist for the 7News Young Achiever Awards in STEM.

Committed to interdisciplinary collaboration, Santhni has been actively engaged with experts from diverse fields to address critical challenges in advancing nanomedicine.

She is also involved in community service through the Adelaide City Rotaract Club.
