As Australia’s life sciences accelerator, MTPConnect is committed to growing our life sciences sector, spanning medtech, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and digital health.
Since 2022, the South Australian Government has supported us to act as an intermediary, offering a range of services and activities focused on the local ecosystem.
Our SA team, led by Dana Bell, is dedicated to delivering bold results, working with stakeholders across the entire innovation pipeline, from research discovery to companies scaling. As part of our national team, they benefit by tapping into our connections across Australia and the globe.
We act as an agent or broker between parties in the innovation process – ultimately, seeking to deliver health and economic impact. We work with a range of stakeholders and organisations, from innovators and entrepreneurs to multinational companies, service providers and government.
Our goal is to accelerate the growth of South Australia’s healthtech sector by empowering the ecosystem. Our role as an intermediary is to promote South Australia’s capabilities, facilitate connections, build capacity, and foster a culture where innovation thrives.
MTPConnect is delivering the Adelaide Life Science Gateway program for AEDA, a new three program designed to position Adelaide as a global hub for medical technology, biotechnology and pharmaceutical innovation and help to accelerate economic activity in the City of Adelaide. The focus of this multi-faceted program is about showcasing Adelaide’s life science capabilities, facilitating international engagement, attracting life science investors, and promoting Adelaide’s pre-clinical and clinical trials ecosystem.
