AUSCEP is an industry-leading innovation program that provides aspiring clinical entrepreneurs with the skills, networks, and training to lead healthcare transformation.
Inspired by the highly successful UK NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Program, AUSCEP empowers clinicians with an entrepreneurial mindset to bridge the gap between healthcare and innovation, driving clinician-led change across Australia’s healthcare system.
Designed for busy lifestyles the program is delivered part-time across 12 months. It consists of eight in-person full-day workshops (delivered in Melbourne and Sydney), webinars, mentoring sessions and ending in an industry showcase of potential collaborators, investors, and partners.
The 12-month, part-time program is delivered in NSW and Victoria, in partnership by MTPConnect and Australian Society for Medical Entrepreneurship & Innovation (ASME), and supported by LaunchVic and NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI).

The program has seen huge impact across the healthcare industry. To date, 157 participants across the three cohorts have collectively impacted over 150,000 patients, created 86 jobs, reached more than 29,000 users with their innovations, and generated over $40 million in funding and $5 million in revenue.
